Bruce Interview at the
Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens This
interview took place in 1992 just after Passenger 57 had been released.
Ironically, though Bruce's film character was a violent psycho
terrorist and plane hijacker, the interview was conducted in the
serenity of the beautiful English Country Garden and Japanese Zen
Garden at the famed Huntington Library grounds in San Marino in
Southern California near LA. We think it is a highly appropriate
setting. The Huntington Art Collection includes two of the
world's most renowned paintings, "Blue Boy" by Gainsborough and
"Pinkie" by Lawrence, as well as one of the few remaining original
copies of the Gutenberg Bible,
the first book to ever be printed on a printing press. A setting
of great quality for a actor of great quality.
Our tape is a copy of a copy so the quality of the photos and audio, alas, do not match the quality of the surroundings and the actor. But because this interview is so rare and hard to find and the audio/video clips do not appear on any other Bruce fan site, we bring the photos and audio/video clips to you anyway. We think it is worth it, fuzzy and all! Be sure to turn the volume up on your speaker. These photos were taken from a video given to us by AGWLBP in 2203. There were no stipulations on its use. |
