AGWLBP CONTENT -
RE:
MISUNDERSTANDING WITH BRUCE’S ANGELS WEBPERSONS
Let this
serve as a formal retraction, on advice of my council, to the affected
parties on the Bruce’s Angels fan site. My most recent remarks were
made without malice and forethought; but they were emotional rather
than reasoned responses.
The bottom line here is that both the AGWLBP and Bruce’s Angels sites
are Bruce Payne fan sites. This is the reason for their existence and I
temporarily lost my focus of this fact. A fan site is obligated to
celebrate and promote the celebrity; in this case Bruce Payne, and to
try to put him in the best possible light. Conflict between sites is
not appropriate in this forum. I encourage the sharing of web
content resources with other Bruce Payne fan sites. I only ask that
when content is used from one site to another that the source be
clearly listed, credit be given when it is due and permission be sought
when appropriate.
Please accept my apologies for losing site of the real goal and for
spewing forth an emotional rant.
I realize that we share a common respect and admiration for Bruce
Payne. I do not wish to pollute this sea of appreciation for one of the
Industry’s finest actors. Carry on in good health.
Sincerely,
AGWLBP
I've been privy to viewing the long awaited Interview that Bruce as
done for the UK site. It will be a treat for ALL the fans indeed.
You'll learn a lot of new stuff. BUT REMEMBER it's COPYRIGHTED to the
BP.CO.UK site and none of it can be quoted or re-worded or referenced
on any other web site. It's now ONLINE!
There is a very wonderful wallpaper was made by a gal in the Ukraine,
which features an image that I purchased. It was passed over to me to
post and I have also placed her link to her Bruce Payne site. It's not
in English, but it's good to know BP fans from other parts of the world.
I have a few NEW AND RARE things to post soon. So come back. I don't
have a lot of time anymore, but when this site gets updated, it is
indeed a treat! I no longer manage nor run this site, I'll just be back
to visit and update now and again when I can.
For those who are
curious, that isn't Bruce in that Verizon commercial. It would have
been fun to see Bruce in it. I have a few photos from Messages that I
will be posting soon, he looks interesting in that.
Lucy, Steph, Stacey, Sandi, Debbie, Sarah, Lynne, Amanda, Bernie and
everyone else, I hope you are doing okay and keeping well.

NYT Celebrates
50 Years of Star Support - Stars including Sir
Ian McKellen, Timothy Spall, Diana Quick, Paula Wilcox, Bruce Payne,
Jonathan Wrather, newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Little
Britain’s Matt Lucas and David Walliams were on hand this
afternoon to launch the National Youth Theatre’s 50th anniversary
programme.
Currently in Birmingham
with the stage version of their hit TV sketch show, Lucas and Walliams
lent their support via live video link. Little Britain would
not exist without the NYT, said Walliams, as the two comedians met in
1990 while members.
After the presentation
of the anniversary programme by NYT artistic directors Paul Roseby and
John Hoggarth – which will include several major new productions, a
mammoth “playathon”, “God Save the Teen”-themed flash mob spectacles
across the country and specially commissioned new writing from
contemporary dramatists including Rebecca Lenkiewicz, Samuel Adamson
and Stella Duffy – nearly 100 current and former NYT members took to
the stage for a massive group photo. Other high-profile names who gave
their backing in a special birthday film were actors Jeremy Irons,
Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael York and Con O'Neill.
he National Youth
Theatre of Great Britain was founded in 1956 by Michael Croft, the
company's director until his death in 1986. The company initially
played in the East End of London but proved so successful that young
people began applying to join it from all over the country. In 1960 the
Youth Theatre was given national status and financial support by the
Department for Education. Since its foundation, NYT has performed over
270 productions in over 50 cities in eight countries and involved over
120,000 young people (aged between 13 and 21) in the UK. During this
anniversary year, it aims to work with 24,000 young people across its
range of activities and give over 200 performances of 64 productions in
82 venues.
Speaking at today’s
launch event, Paul Roseby also encouraged people to donate money to
help fund NYT’s ongoing programme. He reminded the audience: “We are a
charity. We just don’t talk about death and destruction, we talk about
life and opportunity.”
