red hot valenitine special

What do we have for you?  Is it mushy and sweet?  No, no, no.  Is it  syrupy and gooey?  No, no, no.   Nothing so predictable.   That's no fun.  Does it drool all over Bruce?  Absolutely not.  (Well, maybe just a little...)     We have a valentine special with a t-w-i-s-t.   Parody love songs as if done by characters in Bruce films.

One of our primary inspiration (at least for the first two songs) is Spike Jones. Spike was one of Weird Al Yankovic's predecessors in "crime."   Sometimes he altered the lyrics of old standards; sometimes he just added goofy sound effects--bells, whistles, thumps, clangs, satiric voice-overs--whatever would make people laugh.  We've picked some of those old standards to fool around with. We can't do the sound version, alas (maybe next year), but we've added commentaries inspired by Spike's style, as well as by Bruce characters.   We've also borrowed a few pages from Dr. McCort's DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders)  in Hellborn (Asylum of the Damned) and added our own psychological diagnoses of these lunatics.  Let's go at it!

"You Always Hurt the One You Love"

"My Old Flame"

"Devil or Angel"

"I Put a Spell On You"

Well, OK, we'll have some "sweet" love songs too. No need to be TOO cynical, huh?  These are dedicated to Jurgen and Nikita.
